Our senior management team of seven brings 175 years of combined industry experience. With a team of just 26 employees, clients work directly with top experts. This allows faster decisions and quicker turnaround times. Projects that take others weeks can often be completed in days. We scale while maintaining quality, training, and culture.

Our laboratory and headquarters are strategically located within the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, enabling rapid sample analysis and faster, more accurate recommendations. In many cases, we test, report, and provide treatment guidance the same day. With product inventory stocked at all locations, we respond in real time to our customers’ operational needs.

Glenn Peake brings 25+ years of experience in upstream operations and the production chemicals industry. He founded Platinum Chemical Solutions in 2012 and is known for his strong leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to integrity and client success.

Glenn Peake brings 24 years of experience in upstream operations and the production chemicals industry. Before founding Platinum Chemical Solutions Inc. in 2012, he held a management role with an international specialty chemical company following its acquisition of Parachem Solutions Inc., where he previously worked. His background includes operations roles with several oil and gas producers, as well as independent production chemical consulting for both producers and service providers.
Glenn’s blend of operational insight, technical expertise, and integrity has been central to establishing P.C.S. as a company recognized for staying true to its mission, vision, and values. In 2017, Glenn and his family relocated to Grande Prairie to support emerging unconventional reservoir plays, including the Montney and Duvernay.

Shane Lutz brings more than 28 years of oilfield production and operations leadership experience, including over a decade supporting both junior and major producers across the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). Since joining Platinum Chemical Solutions in 2022, he has played a key role in strengthening the company’s greatest asset — its people.
Known for his clarity, decisiveness, and operational insight, Shane consistently delivers effective, pragmatic solutions and provides reliable support to clients facing complex or unforeseen challenges. His leadership style emphasizes accountability, problem-solving, and building strong, high-performing teams.
